LANVIN/H&M SHOW - NEW YORK

 

Shona was asked to design the catwalk show and party for the H and M Lanvin collaboration. The event was held in The Pierre hotel by central park.

 

TIM GUTT - UK VOGUE - STARSIGNS

In October 2010 I assisted Shona on a shoot based on 12 signs of the zodiac for UK Vogue shot by Tim Gutt. It was a very stylized studio story. We made a stawberry plant out of paper and drainpipes, a moon out of a balloon, clouds out of expander foam and a knit ware designer made up a giant woolen jumper.

THE TIDE

In August 2010 I was set designer on a short film directed and written by Luke Rogers called 'The Tide'. It is the story of a beachcomber whose world is given over to the bleep of his metal detector, and the scratch of his pen as he meticulously labels his finds. He spends his time in a battered old fisherman' s hut covered floor to ceiling with pieces of metal he has picked up - bottle tops to precious jewelery - each is treated with the same care. It was filmed on the eerie beachscape of Dungeoness where Derek Jarman had a house. The film will be released later this year.

JOSH OLINS - UK VOGUE - COLOUR SHOCK.

Assisted Shona on this shoot by Josh Olins. The set was partially inspired by the painting of Euan Uglow. Shona focused on colour plains and texture. We used materials such as foam carpet lining and velvet curtains.

TIM WALKER - UK VOGUE - RUSSIAN DOLLS

Assisted Shona on this shoot shot by Tim Walker inspired by the advent of the Ballet Russe exhibition at the V and A. Shona previewed the costumes and sets from the show and then designed backdrops and props that reflected them.
