Assisted Shona on Tim Walker China White shoot for UK Vogue. We brought various elements from the famous blue and white willow pattern design to life, using dusters for giant catkins and paper plates for graphic leaves. We shot the story in a ball room in a psychiatric hospital in Romford which had been locked up for 50 years previous to the shoot. All kinds of things frozen in time were found - a half drunk pint that had turned to tar, the perfectly preserved skeleton of a mouse caught in a mousetrap, left to rot undisturbed.
